Paul Gorry is a professional genealogist and local historian.

He is author of Baltinglass Chronicles, 1851-2001 (Nonsuch, Dublin, 2006) and Baltinglass Golf Club, 1928-2003, and joint-author [with Máire Mac Conghail] of Tracing Irish Ancestors (HarperCollins, Glasgow, 1997).

He is a founder member of the Association of Professional Genealogists in Ireland (APGI). The main services he provides are genealogical and historical consultation and research.
