St. Patrick's Day Parade
From the Irish Times web site. "Baltinglass, the small town, may be small in size
but it definitely is big in heart because of the
people who have made this town what it is today.
This makes it the best place to live in Ireland.
As passed on by the elders, the children of
Baltinglass will surely carry the torch for a more
happier, stronger and prosperous tomorrow."
It says a lot about our town and why
people volunteer so much of their time to make
events like St Patrick's day a community occasion.
This year's parade will begin at 12.30pm Sharp on March 17th. Floats will start at the Euro Business Park in Lathaleere and take the same route as last year.
Business, show your support: Following the success of the St. Patrick's Day Parade last year it has been decided to run a parade in Baltinglass in 2013. Last year saw over 5000 people come to Baltinglass to view the parade. Participating in the parade is an excellent way to showcase your business to the local community, and in these challenging times it proves to be one of the most cost effective methods of advertising.
You can support your town's St. Patrick's Day celebrations by entering a float in the parade, decorating your shop window or making a donation to the running of the parade.
